After you’re done creating your header image [including the links and the rollovers] put the links and the layout design in groups. Leaving only the rollovers alone.

Then, divide your images into slices using the slice tool. Try making the link slices a similar size.

Make sure your rollovers aren’t visible. Now, transfer the image to Image Ready.Remember to have your web content and slice boxes open. Click on the slice of each link individually and assign the link and name.


After you’re done. Right-click the slice and click on ‘Add Rollover State’ then just turn on visibility for the rollover you made for that link. Do this with all links. When you’re done go to File->Save Optimized As. Make sure it saves itself as HTML and Images.
