Ever seen those pretty lines that look like ribbons? Learn how to do them using only the line tool.

First, open a new document. I selected that it’d have a transparent background. Then, select the line tool.

Adjust the width of the line so it’ll be quite wide. For extra style you can apply a gradient effect to the line.

Than, go to Edit»Tranform»Warp.

After this your line will appear as the following:

Select and move those dots to create the form you desire. I moved them slightly and this is how it appears now:

After you’re done moving them around and creating the exact shape you want, click Enter to make the dots disappear. Apply stroke or any other effect to truly make it pop.

Tip:Add more if you’d like several of them and adjust layer positioning to make them look as if they were flowing together.
