To change the appearance of the date in posts, login to your admin. http://yoursite.com/cutenews/.

Then click on Options on the menu bar, like shown below:

Click on the 2nd link titled “System Configuration”. There will be 4 sub-sections across the top. Click on “News”. Towards the middle of the screen there is an option that says “Time Format For News”. In the textarea is the format the time is presented. Below is an example of what mine looks like. Remember, if you want a comma to be shown between the day of the month and year, put j, Y. Once you have changed your format, click “Save Changes”, and you’re done!
